So Mommy and Daddy wanted to go to their friend Matt's 30th Birthday Party at Old Venice Pizza on Friday night (3/26). Little did they know that I had different plans :). Mommy and Daddy got to Old Venice a little after 8 PM and Mommy and I really had to go to the bathroom. It turned out we didn't have to go to the bathroom but instead Mommy's water broke! We went home to pick up bags and head on to the hospital. We got there around 9:45 PM and we were admitted right away. We ended up having a long night. Turns out even though Mommy's water broke, she wasn't very dilated. So they gave us some medicine to help that and to help with the pain. After a restless night, including Mommy's medicines not working at times, I entered into the world at 8:00 AM on the dot on Saturday 3/27/10. I was a healthy looking boy weighing 8 lbs 10 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. Mommy and I are healthy and I am looking forward to meeting a lot of people that I've heard about.

36 Weeks

March 8 - Here is Mommy and me at 36 weeks. This week was very busy. My nursery furniture was delivered on Tuesday. I really like it and think that Mommy and Daddy did a GREAT job picking it out. On Wednesday, Daddy was out of town for work. On Friday, Mommy had a doctor's appointment. My heartbeat was 140 beats per minute. Now we go to the doctor each week until I get here! Mommy and Daddy spent the weekend getting my room ready and my clothes washed. We also went to Aunt Kristin's birthday party, which was a lot of fun!

35 Weeks

March 1 - Here is Mommy and me at 35 weeks.

34 Weeks and A Baby Shower

February 27 - This week was so busy and Mommy and Daddy did not take my week 34 picture until Saturday night. On Thursday, February 26, Mommy and I had a doctor's appoinment. The doctor measured Mommy's belly, and I am right on schedule, as far as her belly's size is concerned. My hearbeat was between 135-140.

Saturday night, Mommy and Daddy had a baby shower and it was fun because I was not the only boy there! Daddy had a really good time getting to open the goodies that their friends were so wonderful to give me. It was funny when sometimes Daddy did not know what certain baby items were. He better learn before I get here.

Cousin Margaret took lots of pictures and we are waiting for copies of them.

I kicked Mommy and she knew that meant that Daddy should be included in the week's picture.

The theme of the shower was birds and Melissa and Cousin Margaret made me this cute sign.

Baby Shower

February 21 - Today, Mommy's friends, Angela and Elizabeth, threw me a shower. It was fun and I had a good time. Mommy forgot to bring extra batteries for her camera and she is waiting for Mimi to send more. I hope that Mommy keeps batteries in the camera once I get here. I will have a lot of "Kodak moments" that will need to be caught on film. I thought Mommy looked really cute in her "Mommy To Be" sash!
