Our First Trick Or Treat

Tonight, Vaughan got to go Trick or Treating for the first time ever. We went with our friends Elizabeth and Nicholas. They showed us "amateurs" how it was done. I am kicking myself for having the "diaper bag" camera on the wrong setting and some of the pics being fuzzy. At first, Vaughan was not in the best of moods (he was not at all happy about having to sit in the wagon) and it didn't help when the first house we went to the homeowner was wearing a mask and cape causing him to go nuts :) Eventually, he got the hang of it and enjoyed picking "cackers" at each house! By the end of the night, he was running, screaming and having the best time. Daddy and I had just as much fun watching him! I have a feeling each year is going to get more and more fun!

Cupcakes and Birthday Fun

We went to a fun birthday party today! We are talking a bounce house and all! Vaughan had a great time and got over his fear of bouncing pretty quickly. He also LOVED his cupcake treat. In fact, he even got a 2nd cupcake after he was stung by a bee :)

Nineteen Months Old

* This month, your vocabulary has just started to flourish!! You speak in jibberish a lot, but you also say many new words.
* You are FASCINATED with books. It is all you talk about and I am happy about this new development. You even want us to read you your coloring books which proves to be challenging, since there are no words :)
* You still wear a size 5 diaper during the day and a size 6 for night time.
* You like to play hard to get...if I go right, you almost always go left, guess that is the proof you are a toddler!
* You love your bilk (milk).
* Buzz is your favorite, and when you can't watch him, you want to read about him (your favorite book is Toy Story, duh!)
* You are very smart! You know what a lot of things are, just can't vocalize it. You also know how to follow many simple directions.
* When I ask you what the alien says (from Toy Story) you are so cute when you say, "ewwww" (that is what they say in the movie).
* You are still wearing a size 6 shoe and mostly wearing size 2T and 3T.
* You love to brush your teeth...it is so cute!
* You call most EVERYTHING that is edible a cacker (cracker).
* Everyday you are becoming more and more like a sweet little boy!

Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday, we decided to head up to the pumpkin patch to pick up a pumpkin to transform into Buzz. We also wanted to take a few shots of our "little pumpkin" too. All around, the day was a success!

Corn Maze

Today, after nap time, Mommy thought it would be fun to take Vaughan through the Corn Maze at the Agricenter. The weather was nice, and, I figured it would get more and more crowded closer to Halloween. So I dressed up Vaughan in his Halloween best and off we went. All in all, he was still a little bit too small to fully enjoy it. He got really tired about halfway in, but we pressed on. He loved being able to walk free in a relatively contained environment.

And we are off!!
