Six Months Old

Today, sweet Vaughan, you are 6 months old!
* You have 4 teeth.
* You wear size 2 diaper  but will soon go to a 2-3.
* You love to eat and we added green beans, pear, peas and squash to your diet this month
* You *love* going to school on Wednesday and Friday and your teachers adore you.

6 month stats:

Height - 28 inches (97th percentile)
Weight - 18 lbs 6 oz (75th percentile)
Head - 46.5 cm (off the charts)

We went to the dr. after this picture and found out you were a sick baby. Not a fun half birthday. After a negative RSV screening and clear chest x-rays, we were sent home with a nebulizer.

Granparent's Day

Vaughan wants to say "HAPPY GRANDPARENT'S DAY" to his Mimi, Poppy, Cha Cha, Grandad, Grandmomma, Pawpaw, Mawmaw and Harold.

Pears

In honor of Grandparent's Day, Vaughan tried pears. Success, again. I think that there is nothing this kid won't eat :)

Germantown Festival

This weekend was the Germantown Festival, one of the few festivals that I attend in town. Even though we really didn't find anything to purchase it was fun to walk to (it is just a few blocks from home) and people watch. I think that even had fun hanging out in the baby bjorn (that he absolutely loves).

First Day of School

Today was Vaughan's first day at Mother's Day Out! His "Bed Baby" class meets two times per week for children six months to one year. He was allowed to start early since he will be "old enough" this month. He came home with a wonderful report. Just got to get him to sleep longer during nap time : )

College Football AND Yams!

Today was Vaughan's first taste of college football. Daddy had to work but luckily he made it home in time for kickoff. Mimi and Pop's had a cookout to celebrate. Vaughan had to represent Memphis, Tennessee and Auburn. And to top it all off Vaughan tried yams for all to see.

New Tooth!

Today, when Mommy picked me up at Mimi's this afternoon I had a big surprise for her. The reason I had been so fussy this week was because I am cutting another tooth. I am such a big boy!

So happy in the morning.

 Cutting teeth makes a baby boy tired!!
