Forrest Spence 5K
Today, Mommy, Mimi, Aunt Kristin, Uncle Spence and I participated in the Forrest Spence 5K. Aunt Kristin and Uncle Spence ran, while the rest of us participated in the stroller division. It was great fun! I was especially proud of Uncle Spence coming in 1st place in his age group. Way to go!

Lunch with Poppy
Today, Mommy and I were just hanging out, when Poppy called to see if we would like to meet him for lunch. Of course!! After lunch, Poppy bought me cute fall clothes from Gymboree. THANKS POPPY!!
Two potential captions:
1.) Was it something Mommy said?
2.) Like Poppy like Grandson.
Mommy thought I needed to relax after so much activity, so she left me to play my piano.

However, I had other plans, so when she left the room, I scooted to the other end of my crib. I wanted to watch my fish friends in my Little Einstein aquarium.
Look at how long I am!!!

Applesauce
Mommy has been so busy making me all kinds of delicious homemade baby food. Up until now I have not been able to enjoy them. Tonight Mommy and Daddy let me have applesauce. I LOVED IT! I cried when I ate it all...I wanted more!
Yum...this taste much better than rice cereal!!!
HAPPY BOY!!!

Baptism
Today, Vaughan was baptized at Church of the Holy Communion. The same church where his Cha Cha, Granddad, Uncle Robert and Daddy were baptized. Also, the same church where his Mommy and Daddy were married. It was such a great day of fellowship and family. Aunt Kristin, Uncle Spence and Uncle Robert were the happy godparents. Afterward, a small brunch was held at Cha Cha and Granddad's house.

Tiny Tiger
Today, Daddy decided to dress me in one of my (many) "Tiny Tiger" ensembles in preparation for college football season. Even though Mommy doesn't love Auburn, she said I was super cute in my outfit :)
After I rested on the couch, I was ready to play in my jumperoo!! I had so much fun "reading"!!

Mommy and Daddy's Anniversary
I want to wish my Mommy and Daddy a very happy 5th wedding anniversary. I, obviously, wasn't at the wedding and reception but hear it was a lot of fun. Daddy sent Mommy pretty flowers and the three of us went to dinner to celebrate on the actual night. The next night Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner without me. I love you both!!
Daddy, good job on the flowers!

Teeth
Today, when I was at Mimi's she noticed that my two bottom teeth were about to come in. She and Poppy were so excited. They called Mommy at work to tell her and she cried. Mommy says I am growing up too fast :)
I do not like to show off my new teeth...YET. I cover them with my tongue, so no picture just yet.

Cereal
So the doctor at my appointment today said it was ok for Mommy and Daddy to give me a little cereal. So we decided to give it a try tonight. The first picture is me before the cereal, the second picture is my first bite, and the last picture is the aftermath.
4 Month Checkup
Today was my 4 month checkup with the doctor. She said I was a very healthy boy. I weigh 16 lbs 13 oz, I am 27 inches tall, and my head is 45.5 cm. I am in the 90th percentile for weight, 97th percentile for height, and off the charts for the size of my head.
