Merry Christmas (Card)

This year's card turned out cute, but when you have an adorable subject that is a give in.

Christmas Eve

Today, after church, we went to Aunt Beth's house for a Miller family Christmas. It was great fun. All of Lawrence's aunts were in town and Vaughan loved playing with Cousin Cole (who is about 4 months older than him).

Sure looks like these two are about to get into some trouble :)

Vaughan played this toy at least 50 times. If it has a button to push, he is the man for the job!

Enchanted Forest

When I was a teenager, I used to volunteer at the Enchanted Forest. I would imagine what it would be like to bring my children there to experience the magic of the Forest. Well, this year, that wait was over, as Vaughan and I (and Daddy too) went through the exhibit. Vaughan enjoyed looking at the decorated Christmas trees. He especially loved the one decked out in animals! He had a slight hesitation to go into the Forest, but with some minor coaxing he went in and had a great time. In fact, we had to drag him out! What a wonderful family excursion.

Worn out!

Christmas Present

Today, I took Vaughan to get his picture made to give to family as a Christmas gift. The final version was so sweet and really captured his personality. I hope everyone will love it :)

Trimming The Tree

Daddy took off the Monday after Thanksgiving so we could not only see Santa, but also put up our Christmas Trees! Yes, trees. I decided to do the tree in Vaughan's room in a Toy Story design. He loved it. I think that his favorite part of all of the decorations is our nativity. He stands on the ottoman and just talks to and plays with baby Jesus. I cannot wait for the holiday season to get in full swing!!

Vaughan and his tree in his room.

The new ornament for the "big" tree to signify his year. We thought this was fitting since he LOVES Buzz and Woody!

He loves it!

Twenty Months Old

I cannot believe that our baby is 20 months old!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had such a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. We started out on Thursday at Nana and Papa's house for lunch with all of the "Ray" clan. After lunch we headed to Heber to spend time with ChaCha, Grandad and Uncle Robert.

When no chairs are available...a cart will work!

Getting into trouble with Cousin Stephen and Cousin Sarah.

Our First Trick Or Treat

Tonight, Vaughan got to go Trick or Treating for the first time ever. We went with our friends Elizabeth and Nicholas. They showed us "amateurs" how it was done. I am kicking myself for having the "diaper bag" camera on the wrong setting and some of the pics being fuzzy. At first, Vaughan was not in the best of moods (he was not at all happy about having to sit in the wagon) and it didn't help when the first house we went to the homeowner was wearing a mask and cape causing him to go nuts :) Eventually, he got the hang of it and enjoyed picking "cackers" at each house! By the end of the night, he was running, screaming and having the best time. Daddy and I had just as much fun watching him! I have a feeling each year is going to get more and more fun!

He put the helmet on...SUCCESS! Vaughan, I'm sorry Buzz, with his Buzz pumpkin and Buzz build a bear

Ready to go!

Not liking the wagon, even though he is with his best pal Nic-nic aka Melmo

Heading to the first house

They had wonderful gifts for all ages, Vaughan picked out a stuffed puppy!

Mommy loves her Space Ranger

Daddy pulled the wagon containing VERY precious cargo :)

All this trick or treating can make even a space ranger hungry :)

Fall School Pictures

Vaughan's school sent out his fall pictures today. I must say, he is a very handsome little boy :)

He is having a great year in 1-A!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
