* You still wear a size 5 diaper during the day and a size 6 for night time.
* You are thisclose to running. You can walk off in no time flat now. You have no fear!
* You are now on 2% organic milk. You are only allowed 3 servings a day and I think that bums you out :)
* You are STILL obsessed with Buzz...but you have discovered that you like Elmo too...or Melmo as you call him.
*You went to visit your great-grandparents the other day and you now say "Paw Paw".
* You are still wearing a size 6 shoe and mostly wearing size 24m and 2T. I am buying 3T for the winter so you can wear them through the entire season.
* You still take about 1-2 naps per day...and sleep about 11-12 hours at night.
* You gave me the sweetest kiss, I am talking grab my face and planted one on me, but you have only done it that one day.

Resting and Results
We are home from the CT scan and Vaughan is napping. He was a good boy and even though he didn't go to sleep like we had hoped, he was very still during the test. The nurse gave him a ball as a special prize. We will have the results in about 24 hours.
**UPDATE**
Just heard from the doctor, and, as expected, Vaughan just has a big head that houses a big, beautiful, perfect brain :)

18 Month Check-Up
![]() |
| Enjoying the beautiful Fall weather! |
Vaughan had his 18 month check-up today (since his doctor is on vacation next week). He was such a big boy and didn't even cry for his finger prick or shot and was awarded with an Elmo sticker which he was so very proud of.
Here are his stats:
Height: 34", 90th percentile
Weight: 36 lbs., off the chart
Head: 52 cm, off the chart
Weight: 36 lbs., off the chart
Head: 52 cm, off the chart
His head is so "off the charts" that she has scheduled a CT scan for tomorrow morning as a precaution to make sure that everything is fine. The doctor does not seem worried, especially since his motor skills are so sharp, it is more for due-diligence since his head was a bit larger than it was forecasted to be. His pediatrician assures me that there is nothing to worry about. I am just a little nervous, but not freaking out because I think he just inherited the "Ray" head and he is proportionate. They will NOT sedate him for the test, instead we will keep him up late tonight and wake him up early tomorrow so he will (hopefully) nap during the scan (truthfully, this is the part that frightens me the most, haha). We have to be at the hospital at 9am and the scan is scheduled for 9:30am, so any and all prayers would be appreciated.

Milk Shake at Lunch
Today, after Vaughan and I ran our errands, we met up with Poppy for lunch at Chic-fil-a. Poppy got a strawberry milk shake for dessert, and Vaughan hates to be left out when people are eating. I had to get his absolute cuteness on camera.

Happy Grandparent's Day
Vaughan is lucky to have two loving sets of grandparents AND great-grandparents. Today, and everyday, we love you!
Brushing Teeth
Today, we attempted to brush Vaughan's teeth for the first time, with his new Buzz toothbrush, of course! He loved it and was sad when it was over. We gotta keep his sixteen teeth looking beautiful :)

MDO - First Day
This fall, Vaughan goes to preschool one day per week and Mother's Day Out two days per week. Today, was the first day of MDO and he looked so handsome in his new mallard duck outfit, even with a big scratch above his eye :)

Boo Boo at School
This afternoon, Vaughan's school called me and told me that one of the kid's in his class had scratched him and he bled a little bit. I understand accidents happen and appreciated her call. When Nana picked him up she thought it was funny that they gave him a Dora bandaid. Pappy told me that he got beat up for "wearing sissy clothes." Here is Vaughan's first school boo boo.
