Little Gym - July 24

Fun time at Little Gym today. As usual, Vaughan was excited to go there and was worn out afterwards, begging me for bites and then shortly thereafter, a nap. Thank you Little Gym for a fun time, and a long nap so I can update the blog, hahaha.

Post Bath Fun

Vaughan loves running around the house after getting a bath. He must be wearing his "hat" or he gets very upset. Thank goodness for hooded towels!!

Lake Weekend

This weekend we spent some time at the Lake with ChaCha, Grandad, Uncle Robert ... and Aunt Bethany (Robert's fiance). After a somewhat painful drive up, since Vaughan asked about "ChaCha house" about every 7 minutes over the course of the three HOUR drive, we had a great time. We went on the boat on Saturday for a couple of hours. Vaughan had a blast and serenaded us with "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" in the process. Sunday we decided that we would drive home during nap time...but my child proved once again he DOES NOT sleep in the car making for a long afternoon/early evening until a very early bedtime.

Vaughan was NOT happy we took his hat away, but it was windy and if we lost that hat we would be unhappier a lot longer than one hour :)

So happy...makes my heart happy.

Super Why - Vaughan-ie style

Vaughan's favorite show is "Super Why." It is educational and has really helped him with his alphabet skills. When it is on, this kid is in the z-o-n-e!

Little Gym - July 17

Vaughan is making great strides in Little Gym. He is the biggest in the class by far, but is really starting to maintain balance well!! I am so proud of him.

Lunch at Grandmomma's

We spent the morning at Grandmomma's (aka mi-momma-momma). We played, ordered tacos from the restaurant down the street and pushed the button of all the animated Christmas toys he adores. He loves to have all of them going at the same time :)

Blueberry Pancakes

Lately, on Sunday mornings we have blueberry pancakes (taking advantage of the fruit being in season). Someone likes this a lot!!! His hands and face get stained purple (temporarily) but, what a way to start the day.

New (Toy Story) Shoes

Little dude upgraded to size 9 sandals this week so decided new tennis shows may be needed sooner rather than later. He decided to get the same pair he has now AGAIN. He loves them since they have every character from Toy Story. He carried them around forever and even took them to lunch. Such a sweet boy that Vaughan of mine!

Vaughan INSISTED on taking all of his Toy Story stuff animals in the car to school today. A MAJOR meltdown occurred when he had to leave them in the car. Looks like someone is still in weekend/vacation mode.

21 weeks - Baby Dow 2.0

Almost forgot to post this weeks picture...happy 4th of July.
At this point gained about 11 pounds.
Most of my non-maternity pants are a no-go (I already miss zippers) but skirts and shirts are ok.

4th of July - It's a ...

Today was the 4th of July and my grandparents (should have been) 60th anniversary cookout. Since Grandmomma didn't want to make a fuss of the upcoming anniversary, we compromised by adding in the GENDER REVEAL of Baby Dow 2.0. What a great day we had!!

Background: When PawPaw was in the hospital one of the things he was most looking forward to was celebrating 60 years with Grandmomma...I had to make sure that this happened. I know he was with us...he never missed a good glass of Korbel Extra Dry :)
