Today was V's last game of the spring soccer season! He was very much improved this season--proud mama right here! As reward, we played on the playground on campus for a bit. Afterwards, we celebrated a fantastic season with dinner at Chic fil a. Yum!

I was just checking the baby monitor and had to capture V hugging the edge of his bed--had to move him, we don't want falling out of bed!

Another Monday!

V went to school and baby boy slept until 10:00--someone had a little too much fun this weekend!

Once sleeping beauty woke up we went to target to get him his very own potty seat! He talks about "bodily functions" all the time. He is a bit too young, more than likely, but he screams when he is on the regular potty.

After OT, we had a soccer game. The weather was beautiful and enjoyed the action packed game. V gave it his all :)

After soccer we came home and G-man pottied in the potty. I know it was a fluke, but I'm proud nonetheless.

Another Monday!

Someone was very tired this morning -- Gentry. I had to wake him up at 11am!

Once sleeping beauty was cleaned up we decided to go to the park. Oh my oldest keeps me in stitches! We were there with a couple of little girls and their mom when three "big" (they were 7) boys showed up. V in the most serious tone says, "come on brother, let's go handle them." Ummm, what? Me and the other mom were just laughing. He grabbed a pair of sticks -- just in case they needed to "battle." Never a dull moment with two boys!

Today was a relaxing day. We walked though Costco and vegged out! Tonight we celebrated uncle Chris's 50th birthday with a delicious meal. Good food and family can't be beat!

Mawmaw had hip surgery yesterday so this morning Gent and I went up to visit her. Imagine our surprise when Papa was there. Not to be undone, V wanted to see Mawmaw before she got discharged after speech.

Hopefully the visits raised Mawmaw's spirits!

Manic Monday!

We had a conference at V's school bright and early this morning. Made a game plan to get him ready for kindergarten in the fall. Not sure how my baby got so big! It is all about Memphis this week at school so to kick it off it was Grizzlies day!

Afterwards little bit and I went to story time. He did a good job helping to make his necklace.

Later this afternoon we had a soccer game and V's team won 6-3, Whoo hoo!!

Sunday Funday!

Since V is celebrating Memphis week this week at school and the rendezvous is bringing in barbecue for lunch later in the week. He doesn't know if he likes barbecue so we went to the commissary for a delicious lunch. And...he really liked it! Success :)

After lunch we ran to target where V wanted to spend his birthday money on a new Wii game. He chose Mario Kart and he played it much of the afternoon. G had a little spending money and he got some Mario Kart toys that are more his speed :)

This weekend flew by! Looking forward to a great week.

Busy day!

The boys played at Yaya's house for a bit. They love playing with their cousins! While the boys were out Lawrence and I ran some errands and had lunch at Pei Wei, yummy!

That evening we had dinner at Nana and Papa's house with aunt K, uncle S and ASH. It was a lot of fun--especially the kitchen dance party

Here's to a good nights sleep for 2 exhausted little boys!

Happy Friday! It was a busy day here but that will make the weekend nice and relaxing :)

V got very good feedback at Speech today so I am one proud momma. It was also Grizzlies dress down day at school. A great day all around for my big boy!

G was wound up today. He had to be able to see me and the moment he couldn't it was meltdown after meltdown. The tears were quickly forgotten we he looked at me today and said "momma, I love you" with the biggest smile ever.
